When TourismOhio launched the Ohio Ice Cream Trail back in 2018, it featured just 15 locations.

Fast forward to today, and you'll find 195 ice cream destinations spread across every corner of the Buckeye State, including 49 brand-new stops for 2026. From family-owned dairy bars and nostalgic roadside stands to handcrafted gelato shops and nationally loved favorites, there's a sweet stop waiting around almost every bend.

Behind every cone is one of Ohio's biggest success stories.

Ohio is home to more than 1,400 dairy farms, over 250,000 dairy cows, and produces more than 660 million gallons of milk every year, ranking 11th in the nation for milk production. Many of the treats you'll enjoy along the trail feature products made right here in the Buckeye State through Ohio Proud producers.
