Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood Announce Plan To Honor Dolly Parton

Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood are sharing their plan to honor Dolly Parton.  

The two country stars will host "Dolly Day," which will be a celebration of her "life and her passion for helping children." It happened on September 25th at Friends in Low Places Bar and Honky Tonk in Nashville, Tennessee. The venue will donate its entire income for the day to children's literacy. 

Parton passed away on Tuesday after a brief battle with cancer.
