Dolly Parton's Family Confirms Private Burial

Dolly Parton's family is confirming the country music icon has been privately laid to rest.  

Her niece, Lainey Mae Parton, says the burial took place on Friday. Parton had reportedly requested a small private service for immediate family members. Parton died last Tuesday at 80 years old following a brief battle with cancer. 

Her family is requesting donations to the Imagination Library instead of flowers.
