Dolly Parton Sent a Heartfelt Final Message To Children Graduating Her Imagination Library Program

Dolly Parton left a final message for the children who graduate from her Imagination Library program.

The singer included a letter to each reader with their final book provided by the program. The Washington Post writer Hanna Sampson shared the letter her daughter received when she turned five last year. In part it reads "how time flies. It seems it was only yesterday when your family and friends read you your first story, you were just a baby and now you're five years old." She wrapped up the letter by saying "just remember the lessons my family taught me- dream big dreams; learn everything you can learn, and care for all those who care for you," adding "you do all of these things and you can be anyone you want to be." Parton signed the letter, "you are terrific, and remember... I Will Always Love You, Dolly." 

The country singer's Imagination Library has gifted over 330-million-books to children around the world. Parton passed away on August 25th at 80-years-old following a brief battle with cancer.
